In a move aimed at heightening global air connectivity, Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the premium airline beOnd. This partnership is set to explore the possibility of launching direct all-premium flights linking the Red Sea International Airport with six key European cities. The proposed direct routes would enhance access for international travelers by connecting the Red Sea with London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Moscow. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s efforts to bolster its tourism sector in line with the Vision 2030 strategy.

The strategic agreement was formalized during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 held in London. This collaboration underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its global aviation ties and attracting a larger number of international tourists. By improving connections to these major European hubs, the Kingdom aims to position the Red Sea as a premier luxury travel destination, thereby increasing inbound tourism and diversifying travel choices for visitors.

Officials from both parties have emphasized that the new routes could play a crucial role in fostering long-term economic growth. By strengthening aviation and tourism links, the initiative is expected to contribute positively to the Kingdom’s broader economic objectives. Additionally, the enhanced connectivity stands to support the development of the Red Sea as a sought-after destination for luxury travelers.

As a premium leisure airline, beOnd has expressed its dedication to supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism goals. The airline views the partnership as an opportunity to expand its high-end travel services within the Kingdom. This collaboration not only reflects beOnd’s commitment to enhancing luxury travel but also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s larger vision of elevating its status as a global tourism powerhouse.
